EABIC and UNIA Take DC by Storm

Pan-African Groups From African Union 6th Region Show Unity During DC Workshops
“Organizing the Diaspora”
Presented by EABIC and UNIA-ACL Global Government
Washington, DC, November 27, 2011:  The EABIC and UNIA-ACL present their first co-sponsored workshop series on organizing the Pan-African Diaspora at The Davis Center in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 8am til 5pm.  Issues relating to African healthcare, networking and grassroots organizing will be covered by the workshops.
Following registration, continental breakfast and opening ceremonies, a workshop on Universal African Healthcare provided by the Universal African Black Cross Nurses.  The Black Cross Nurses services include transportation to doctors for the sick, collecting medical supplies for Africa, and blood pressure testing among others.
The Pan-African Diaspora Union (PADU) follows a luncheon networking session and skills bank registration drive, with a Grassroots Organizing/Townhall Meetings workshop.  PADU work follows the vintage of notables such as Edward Wilmot Blyden and Marcus Garvey, in unifying the African Diaspora.
UNIA-ACL President General, Senghor Baye will be the keynote speaker and New Jerusalem University Director, Prophet Benton Curry, will close panel discussions.
